Sony has finally made the PlayStation Plus Free Games for October 2023 official. And it’s not even a surprise that these games are exactly what was leaked a while ago. This list was recently revealed by the PlayStation Blog.
From exciting super hero fairs to some hardcore RPG fun, this list has pretty much everything for everyone. Let’s take a look at every major free game that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to enjoy this October.
Gotham Knights- PS5, PS4
Yes, one of Warner Bros.’s most recent superhero games is finally coming to PlayStation Plus. It’s somewhat weird given the fact that this game was recently added to Xbox Game Pass’s library too.
Well, for anyone looking for mediocre co-op superhero fun, this is the game.
Disco Elysium: The Final Cut- PS5, PS4
In the world of CRPGs, this game is the king, one of the best rpgs that have been released in recent time. Play as a detective and use your skills to investigate a number of complex cases.
And you do that using the wit of your tongue; there are no weapons involved in this title.
Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes- PS5, PS4
The latest addition to this anthology of dark choice-based horror stories, in which players direct the campaign through their choices.
House of Ashes takes players to a massive labyrinth underground, where they try to escape a horrific and unexplained threat. If you are a thrill-seeker, this would not disappoint you.
Alien: Isolation- PS4
Yet another horror game, but much better in terms of player freedom. Alien Isolation is set in the Alien universe, where players are stuck on a broken-down spaceship with a Xenomorph.
Try to escape it as soon as you can, but it will not be as easy as you might think.
Dead Island: Definitive Edition- PS4
A quirky zombie game in which, as the name suggests, players are trapped on an island full of zombies It’s a tropical island resort full of opportunities and excitement. Find components, craft new weapons, kill zombies, rinse, and repeat.
There’s no wrong way of playing this game if you want to kill a bunch of zombies, that is.
Outlast II- PS4
One of the scariest games that has been released in the last few years on any console. This is a sequel to Outlast, the game that somewhat started the run-and-hide genre of horror games.
This one is no different; only this time, players are not trapped in a psychological hospital but are stuck in the compounds of a cult.
Elite Dangerous- PS4
Elite Dangerous joins the list of PlayStation Plus free games for October 2023. This is a very good roguelike space sim that tasks you with exploring and dogfighting. If you die, do it all again.
Now it might not be as deep as Starfield, but it would definitely scratch that itch.
