The Xbox Game Pass is like a treasure trove of games. Big and small gamers can find all sorts of titles on this service. Gamers are free to try any game they want, uninstall it, and move on to the next game if they want to. This Halloween, though, fans might be wondering if there are any good horror games on Xbox Game Pass.
Well, to answer this question, we have compiled a list of the 5 best horror games on Xbox Game Pass that fans can play this Halloween.
Dead Space (the best horror game on Xbox Game Pass)
Here’s a game that was released earlier this year and is already making its way to Microsoft’s subscription service. Explore a massive mysterious planet cracker called the Ishimura in search of protagonist Isaac Clark’s girlfriend, as it is very rapidly taken over by a strange entity. It’s turning everyone on that ship into scary monsters, and the only way to kill them is to “cut their limbs”.

Think of it as a creepier Resident Evil game—much more horror and much less campiness. This game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from October 26 onwards.
Amnesia, the Bunker
This is the latest in the series of anxiety-inducing slow-burn horror games. As is usual with any other Amnesia game, players search for resources, solve puzzles, and also, this time, collect ammo for their gun. There is also a monster constantly hunting for players. Yes, Bunker hands over a gun to the gamers this time around, but ammo is scarce, so be very sure before firing it.

A somewhat different take on the usual amnesia formula, yet as scary as ever.

Lies of P
Always wanted to play Bloodborne? Tired of waiting for Sony to come to its senses and bring it to the PC? Fret not, and give Lies of P on Game Pass a go. No doubt, it’s pretty much identical to its inspiration in every way. Yet, 60FPS and far better visuals make a different statement altogether.

Do not miss Lies of P on Game Pass at any cost.
SOMA
Yet another horror game where players have to technically just run away and hide. But this game gives its players a much different kind of horror. In fact, it’s so horrifying just in its concept that developers have allowed players to go through this game without any fear of monsters. They can just enjoy the story by turning off the monsters altogether.

It goes to show how disturbing and terrifying its story must be. By the time credit rolls, it fills players with an existential crisis.
Inside
Now some games do not need fancy visuals to fill players with dread. Inside is one such game; this title literally takes players on a creepy journey through a weird, creepy dystopia. Players witness the journey of a little kid who is trying to escape his captives in this weird world.

It’s full of so many twists and turns that players would not want to leave this game alone. And when the final revelation hits, the game just blows its players away!
This is our small list of the top horror games on Xbox Game Pass. Have fun getting through these games this spooky season.
