The Game Awards 2023 are just a few hours away, and the anticipation is super high. Fans have been waiting for this moment for almost a year now. They would soon find out if their favorite game won or lost this superstitious title.
But something really worth the hype is the announcements. Yes, the Game Awards 2023 is basically an ad fest, and many developers nowadays pay big bucks to show off their games during their runtime. And it looks like three very interesting titles are making their way to it.
Capcom and Arkane are bringing some really interesting titles to the Game Awards 2023!
Capcom is gearing up for the launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2. This open-world, hard-as-nails game will launch on all modern gaming platforms in March 2024. The game would be Capcom’s first-ever $70 game, which is a reason for many to rejoice.
But they are going to show off a couple other games during the Game Awards 2023. One is Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition. This is not much of a surprise, as there is no doubt it would bundle the original game and the DLC in one package. And Capcom would treat it as a reason to make it their second $70 game. The second title would be a new open-world Monster Hunter game.
According to the recent leak, it is called Monster Hunter Wild. It’s a wild name, that’s for sure, but given the fact that this game would be shown during the Game Awards, this means it would be targeting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This means fans are up for a treat; a real RE Engine open-world game would be something else.
Finally, Arkane, the creator of Dishonored, might bring the third installment in this series to the Game Awards 2023. This is genuinely an announcement that I am personally very skeptical about. If it happens, though, no one would be happier than me.
