Geoff Keighley has announced that he will be announcing the nominees for this year’s Game of the Year nominees on Monday. Fans must be aware that The Game Awards 2023 tickets were made available for purchase last week. Hence, anyone willing to witness this spectacle needs to hurry and go grab them.
What remains are the Game Awards 2023 GOTY nominations. Before the official nominations come in, here’s our list of expected nominees for this year. We are even sure that one of the games would actually win; we will reveal it a bit later, though.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo’s latest Zelda game is the epitome of what happens when player freedom is matched by expertly designed gameplay and numerous exciting abilities. The game did not disappoint, and it was even a commercial success nut
Baldur’s Gate 3
Of course, Baldur’s Gate 3 would be on this list, but this is the game that everyone is talking about, after all.
Even though its third act has numerous problems, there’s no doubt this game is all set to be nominated for a Grammy.
Spider-Man 2
Of course, Insomniac Games’ superhero spectacle would be on this list and one of the strangest contenders too. Both visually and in terms of gameplay, this game is a pure revelation.
Dead Space Remake
Well, we had to put this one here for our own personal preference. And we sincerely hope, even if it does not win, that it will be on this list.
Starfield
Yep, Bethesda’s latest game is an Xbox and PC exclusive. Traveling through planets and completing quests and side quests never gets old. This would yet again be coming from a developer who always wins whenever they are nominated.

Who should win, though?
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the game that changes a world of stuff to do and a much better in-depth story following Zelda and the resurrection of a very dangerous foe. If you haven’t played it, then you will know what we are talking about.
