Nintendo Switch emulator is back in a brand new avatar
Nintendo Switch 2 leaks keep coming. There’s hardly any day that goes by without us hearing about something in regard to this console. While most of them are basically repeating what we have heard numerous times, there are some that sound plausible enough to be hyped for.
Recently, we have yet again uncovered a Nintendo Switch leak, giving us a look at what direction this console might take. And it sounds pretty interesting, to be honest.
A new Nintendo Switch 2 leak suggests the console is currently called “Super Nintendo Play.”
Recently, a Korean leaker by the name of For_Ataraxia revealed that Nintendo has been internally calling its new and upcoming console Super Nintendo Play. It’s an interesting name; we are not in love with it yet, but we can fall for it for sure. Besides this quirky name, the console is said to be modeled after Nintendo’s Super Famicom, or Super Nintendo.
The best thing this Nintendo Switch 2 leak suggests is that this console would retain the ability to play games via game cards. This might just confirm those rumors of Nintendo Switch 2 backward compatibility. The ability to play the whole Nintendo Switch library on this new console would be one of the largest selling points of this new console.

Nintendo Switch 2 is modeled after SNES was already revealed by the trailers of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Super Mario RPG, hinting at the fact that these games might make an appearance on that new console too.
The console would once again have a hybrid functionality but would do it without a dcok. One wonders how it is possible, are those wireless docking rumors true?
The excitement for Nintendo Switch 2 refuses to die. Its appearance is inevitable; the console will launch sooner or later. We just hope Nintendo sees fit to release Super Mario Odyssey 2 alongside it.
