Red Dead Redemption 2
A Red Dead Redemption port for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch launched a while ago. It got a very polarizing response from the gaming community. Nintendo Switch users could not be happier, and PlayStation users could not be more pissed. Both groups agreed the game could have been cheaper.
Eventually, people stopped complaining, and the game sold pretty well on both platforms—yes, on PlayStation too. Now, it appears the Nintendo Switch will soon be getting a port of the sequel too!
A leak suggests Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch!
It’s a weird way that Rockstar Games works; they released GTA Definitive Trilogy on Nintendo Switch, and they released Red Dead Redemption on Nintendo Switch too. And now, someone on the internet is strongly suggesting that Rockstar will be releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Nintendo Switch too.
If this happens, then it would be a huge win for every Nintendo Switch owner out there, including yours truly. But what scares me is the fact that The Witcher 3 on the Nintendo Switch looks like a peeled potato. And Red Dead 2 looks miles better than The Witcher 3 and is much more demanding too; it makes us wonder how that game would run on Switch.

Let’s check our expectations and be honest with ourselves; these games look ugly. If there’s any Nintendo system out there that should get this port, it’s the Nintendo Switch 2. But that console is nowhere near its launch.
Maybe the leaker made a mistake, and maybe this game is indeed coming to Switch 2 somewhere in the future. Let’s hope that’s the case, as we have high hopes for Switch 2 when it comes to performance, and that console might even do justice to Red Dead 2.
